EN Sean Wirz (*1988) is a director and screenwriter and creates sound for feature and commissioned films. His productions have been showcased at numerous film festivals worldwide, including the Zurich Film Festival, Uppsala SFF, Aesthetica SFF York, Filmfest Dresden, and Brest European SFF. His screenplays have made their way to prestigious pitching competitions and workshops, such as at the Locarno Film Festival and Kurzfilmtage Winterthur, and have recently earned him a further screenwriting grant from the SSA, Société Suisse des Auteurs. In addition to fiction and advertising, Sean also works on projects with a social focus, such as a film workshop for people with physical disabilities or a short documentary on the daily life and perspectives of people affected by dementia. 2024 marks the completion of the River Sound Studio in Bern, a state-of-the-art film sound studio, where he serves as re-recording mixer and CEO. Sean began his career as a musician and composer and later assisted at Sound Design Studios AG. Sean studied in Australia, Zurich, and New York City. He lives in Bern and dives into the cold waters of his beloved river Aare year-round.

Angefangen hat Sean als Musiker und Komponist und assistierte später bei der Sound Design Studios AG. Sean studierte in Australien, Zürich und New York City. Er lebt in Bern und taucht zu jeder Jahreszeit in das kalte Nass seiner geliebten Aare ein.
